The Minister of Finance of the Union, Nirmala Sitharaman, on Tuesday, made several new ads in the 2022 budget for the Ministry of Railways. Sitharaman announced that 400 new Vande Bharat trains will be presented and the load terminals of 100 pm Gati Shakti will build in the next three years.



'Atmanirbhar Bharat', Sitharaman added that the 2,000 km of the railway network will be taken under world-class indigenous technology called 'Kavach'. 'Kavach' or कवच in Hindi means armor.




"As part of Atmanirbhar Bharat, 2,000 km of railway network will be taken under the 'Kavach' indigenous world-class technology, for the increase in safety and capacity in 2022-23," Sitharaman said as he presented his fourth budget in the Parliament.



The railway minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, praised the ad about 2,000 km from the network that will take under 'Kavach'.


"The anti-collision technology developed indigenous is certified by SIL4, which means that there is a single error probability in 10,000 years," Vaishnaw said.


"The new advertisement of Vande Bharat and Kavach will change the experience of the passengers, there are funds for the redevelopment and modernization of the seasons," he added.



What is 'Kavach'?


'Kavach' is a network of anti-collision devices (ACD). It is a technology made in India that is designed to help Indian railroads achieve the goal of "zero accidents".

The implementation of 'Kavach' will bring a movement of the train to a dede automatically when you notice another train on the same line within a prescribed distance.



Trains will also stop on your own when the digital system shows any manual error.


Railroad Budget


The general budget 2022-23 presented by Sitharaman in Parliament destined for the March 1.4 Lakh Crore for the Ministry of Railways, an increase of about approximately $ 20,000 crore of the revised estimates of the previous prosecutor.



Vaishnaw welcomed the ads and said that the two trains of Vande Bharat are currently running are the avant-garde trains, but the next ones, which will be the third version, will be the 'trains of the next generated'.
