What is renewable energy ? Now electricity generate and sell by gram panchayats.

Now, Gram Panchayats will also generate and sell electricity, the central government made a draft, the pilot project will be executed in the states.

The Minister of Union Panchayati Raj Giriraj said that loans can be taken from banks for this. Banks will have no problem in giving loans through the promotion of production plants. Such plants begin to earn money from the first day.

There will be emphasis on CNG production of cow dung and agricultural residues.

New Delhi. The country's gram panchayats can sell the surplus (extra) electricity together with the production of electricity according to their requirement. The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has prepared the draft after study and deliberations in depth in this regard. In the next financial year, the pilot projects will begin for the generation of renewable energy in the States in this regard. In this sense, the Minister of the Union Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh, said the states would take the panchayats to be self-sufficient in the field of energy. Several rounds of talks have been held in this regard, which will now be carried out.

According to the data of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, there are more than 2.63 Lakh Gram Panchayats throughout the country. Government buildings have been built in almost all panchayats, including panchayat buildings, government schools, procession houses, community halls, earrings, posadas and dharamshalas. These buildings are maintained by the Panchayats people only. Such a scheme would be encouraged in view of the substantial potential of the generation of renewable energy. It is the intention of the ministry that for a self-employed India, it is necessary that the panchayats are also self-sufficient in the field of energy.

Account of the Government Buildings of the Panchayats Village Search for all States

The Union Minister, Giriraj Singh, has written a letter in this regard to the main ministers of the States and the administrators of the Union territories, urging them to implement this plan. Together with the letter, those panchayats of several states have been cited, which have not only become self-sufficient when producing renewable energy, but have also been successful in obtaining income from surplus energy. Accounts of Gram Panchayats government buildings have been sought from all states. Solar panels can be installed on the ceilings of these buildings. Apart from this, a combined Gobar gas plant can be configured in vacancies. The surplus crop residue of all three culture seasons can be used to make GNC. The Gram Panchayats that have running water currents can be used to generate hydroelectricity. Efforts will be made at all levels to take advantage of these possibilities.

Loans can be taken from banks.

The Minister of Union Panchayati Raj Giriraj said that loans can be taken from banks for this. Banks will have no problem in giving loans through the promotion of production plants. Such plants begin to earn money from the first day. The surplus power can be channeled to the central pool after the panchayats have used the power they need. All these facilities will be provided to the Gram Panchayats. In terms of renewable energy generation, Rajasthan has achieved 86 percent of its goal, Gujarat 85 percent, Tamil Nadu 72 percent, Maharashtra 47 percent and Madhya Pradesh 45 percent. But there is a broad potential to generate renewable energy at the Panchayat level.
